About nGenius Prep

We’ve Spent a Decade Learning What Moves ACT Scores.

The Short Version

nGenius Prep started with a simple observation: most ACT prep doesn’t work. Not because the students aren’t trying — because the systems aren’t designed to produce results.

Big-name programs run students through generic curricula. Self-study tools rely on motivation that doesn’t last. And most tutoring is just a smart person sitting next to your kid — with no methodology, no structure, and no accountability.

We built something different. nGenius Prep is a small, focused operation based in Madison, Alabama. We work with a limited number of students, use a proven methodology, and guarantee results. Not because it makes good marketing — because it’s the only honest way to do this.

What Makes Us Different

📍

Local

We're based in Madison, Alabama. We know the schools, the students, and the community. We're not a faceless online platform — we're your neighbors.

🎯

Specialists

The ACT is all we do. We don't dabble in SAT, GRE, or college essays. Every hour of our research, training, and development goes into one test.

👥

Small on Purpose

We cap enrollment because quality matters more than volume. Every student gets real attention, a named tutor, and a customized plan.

🛡️

We Guarantee Results

Our 2-point score improvement guarantee isn't marketing. It's a contractual commitment. If your student does the work and the score doesn't move, you get your money back.

Our Team

Meet the Tutors

Every nGenius Prep tutor is hand-picked for their expertise, trained in our methodology, and committed to your student’s success. These aren’t college kids with a study guide — they’re seasoned educators who’ve spent years mastering the ACT.

17 years of teaching experience · Full-time private tutor

Sean brings 17 years of teaching experience — including a decade in test prep and eight years as a full-time professional tutor. He holds a B.S. in Chemistry with minors in physics and mathematics. His approach starts by identifying each student's attention, motivation, knowledge, and goals, then instilling effective study methods built around them. We’re Not For Everyone

If you’re looking for the cheapest option, we’re not it. Our programs are time-intensive — students need to plan their schedules accordingly. Everyone’s busy, but nailing this test is critical for the next stage of life. If your student isn’t willing to do the work between sessions, they won’t see the results they’re looking for. And if you want a big-name brand with a glossy brochure, there are plenty of those out there.

But if you want a small team of specialists who will build a custom plan, hold your student accountable, and guarantee results — you’re in the right place.
